Earnhardt Hyundai is located conveniently in the Avondale Automall, right near the Peoria, Phoenix, and Glendale areas. Given the location of our dealership, we are situated near a few key automotive competitors from a variety of auto manufacturers.
Recently, Earnhardt Hyundai had the honor of being the focus of an online blog post written by one of our customers, Kathy Burrows. In her post, Burrows discussed her experience with the Earnhardt Hyundai team and how her time shopping with us compared to her experiences at other local dealerships.
In her online post, Burrows explained her initial hesitations around shopping for a new vehicle amid an ongoing pandemic, but given the timing of her current vehicle lease, the time was now to get behind the wheel of something new. Burrows wrote in her post, “Our first appointment with Hyundai, without question, was the way every sales process should go. When it came to touchless and [being] prepared, it was exactly what one would expect and more.”
Burrows went into detail on the commitment to social distancing measures and sanitation practices the Earnhardt Hyundai team, and specifically our sales rep Riley O’Conor, showed during her time with us. Throughout the pandemic our team has put a focus on keeping our dealership as clean and safe as possible for customers and employees and our commitment to this wasn’t lost on Burrows. In her blog Burrows wrote, “The sales rep, Riley, wore his mask and had disinfectant wipes as he walked around the car wiping handles, steering wheel, etc. While he did this and we were socially distanced he explained features and advised me what to look for once I entered the car.”
When describing her overall experience with Riley and Earnhardt Hyundai, it was clear that our team exceeded expectations as Burrows wrote, “I felt he listened, prepared, took every precaution and also did his job of explaining. Upon returning, he answered questions and never once pushed me into what I wanted to do. I explained I had other test drives and he welcomed that. He said he would follow up in a certain amount of time…and he did.”
As stated in her post, Earnhardt Hyundai wasn’t the only dealership Burrows visited while shopping for a new vehicle in Avondale. Burrows visited three other dealerships after our Hyundai dealership and wrote that her experiences there simply didn’t stand up to her time here at Earnhardt Hyundai. She went on to mention the lack of social distancing at local competitors, lack of contactless options, and a simple lack of customer service.
To close out her post, Burrows asked readers this: “My biggest question: why can’t we be the Hyundai dealer that treats you as if you are the only person in the universe, no matter the size of the sale? The treatment of listening, follow up, top notch experience, no pressure selling, asking what other things are essential?” Surrounding Avondale and Phoenix dealerships seemed to lose focus of what matters while helping someone look for a new vehicle, and that is listening to what the individual wants and needs and finding a vehicle that is a perfect fit for the customer.
As displayed in the post written by Burrows, the team here at Earnhardt Hyundai is committed to not only creating an environment that is safe and comfortable for customers but also offering an experience that shoppers will enjoy and find beneficial. If you are in the Phoenix, Peoria, Glendale, or Westgate area and are looking for a new vehicle, take the advice from Kathy Burrows and come visit us here at Earnhardt Hyundai in Avondale for an experience that will never disappoint.
